Product Overview

High-quality carat tubes, i.e., heat-wound high-density polyethylene (HDPE) wind-wound structural wall pipes. The wall pipe is made of high-density polyethylene resin as the main raw material, using the hot winding poplar-type process, and using polypropylene (PP) single-wall corrugated pipe as the supporting structure to make a special structural wall pipe with high external pressure resistance. Carat tube products can be divided into four series: PR, OP, SQ, VW.

Carat pipe products can be divided into PR, OP, SQ, VW three series, including: PR, OP - mainly used for buried drainage pipes, SQ-mainly used for manufacturing containers or manholes, VW - mainly used for tees, elbows, secondary processing and forming pipe fittings, the most widely used in the product is PR series, the product has a smooth inner surface, the outside is a special-shaped reinforced structure, the standard length of the pipe is 6 meters, the inner diameter range of the pipe is DN300-DN4000, and the product indicators have reached GB/T 19472.2-2017 Type B structure wall pipe standard and PREN-13476 European standard requirements.

1. The hot winding molding melt joint quality is high, and the flat strip and U-shaped strip in the molten state extruded from the extruder die are evenly wound on the heated drum mold according to the predetermined position, so as to ensure the quality of the weld joint of the structural wall tube. Carat tube (HDPE winding structural wall B-pipe) is a high-density polyethylene large-diameter winding reinforced pipe produced by hot winding molding process. The 190 °C flat and U-shaped strips extruded from the extruder's die are evenly wound around the heated steel roller mould in a predetermined position and are naturally cooled to ensure the quality of the tube welds. The main production process of carat tubes

1. Winding: In the hot winding molding process, the HDPE flat strip in the molten state and the circular stiffener covered with PP are synchronously wound on the steel mold heated to a predetermined temperature.

2. Cutting: The pipe bearing and plug ports are processed to standard sizes.

3. Demolding: The pipe is detached from the mold.

4. Modification: make the appearance smooth and standardized.

5. Electric fuse embedding: The inner wall of the pipe socket is embedded with an electric fuse.

6. Product inspection: test the appearance and size of the product to ensure that the qualified product leaves the factory.

 

The main use of carat tubes

Carat pipes are mainly used in municipal underground drainage, sewage, rainwater collection, water transportation, ventilation, etc. It can be used as a seepage and drainage pipe for railways, highways, golf courses, football fields, etc. Due to the excellent acid, alkali and corrosion resistance of polyethylene and polypropylene materials, they are widely used in nuclear power, steel mills, power plants, petrochemicals, docks, stations and other fields, especially in harsh environments such as tidal flats, saline-alkali land, submarine riverbeds, soft foundation expansive soils, and seismic zones.
